Description
The Mindray IPM-9800 monitor's parameter board is primarily designed to centrally display and present a patient's key vital signs in real time and continuously, providing medical staff with objective evidence for rapid assessment of the patient's condition and timely detection of changes in their condition. The parameter board processes signals from various sensors and displays them in various formats, including digital, waveform, graphical, and alarm formats.
The IPM-9800 monitor has three parameter measurements: SpO2, ECG and Temp:
SpO2 monitoring is a non-invasive technology that measures blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate by measuring the absorption of light at specific wavelengths. Light generated by the probe passes through tissue and is converted into an electrical signal by a photodetector within the probe. The SpO2 module processes this signal and displays the SpO2 and pulse rate waveforms and digital values.
An electrocardiogram (ECG) measures the heart's electrical activity, including heart rate (HR), heart rhythm (such as sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, etc.), and ST segment changes (used to monitor myocardial ischemia), and displays them on a patient monitor in the form of waveforms and numerical values.
Temp function is used to monitor skin temperature and core temperature. The monitor is designed with two temperature monitoring interfaces, which can be connected to two temperature probes at the same time, so that two temperature points can be monitored at the same time.
